Attic Renovation

This project of a complete attic renovation was made taking into account the plans provided by the owner of the home, Jason. We had to make some changes with respect to the roof tile, raising it one foot and giving it an aspect of expanded space. Basically we removed everything, leaving just the bones of the attic.

We did all new framing, and insulated all walls within the attic. Additionally, we built the new bathroom, using stone in the shower and The Onyx Collection shower base. The open closet gave more space to the bathroom, and allows the homeowner access to get ready for the day right out of the shower!

The stair railing is my custom-design and made with three types of wood, giving it a different style and texture.

For the lighting, we installed LED lamps and a wireless sound system.

The client chose the paint colors, matching well with the color of the bathroom stone, and integrating nicely with the laminate floor color.

To save space we installed sliding doors for the entry to the bathroom and for the library.

The result is a spacious and beautiful attic master suite.
